micronation: (and I'll let you help)

Six; Action/Phone

Hardware Store
[You can find Sealand wheeling a red wagon through the store, it being the most practical solution for carrying around four buckets of paint and a dangerously high pile of wooden planks. The wagon seems to be holding up for now, at least. He's studying locks.]

They need to have those cool locks like in the movies.

[WHERE IS ALL THE RETINA SCANNING TECHNOLOGY, 1950S.]

Library
[Sealand is getting a bunch of books on building things! Of course, since he's a young boy, it's mostly about bird houses and shop classes, but it's good enough.]

Phone
Hey, Seborga, where are you?

You're not going to do that! What era do you think you're living in? [and it's not like he was going do that the other day sealand will never know]

Why can't you just be content with a toy train? Those are fun, aren't they? Choo choo?

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well. If it's France, that's fine.

I'll let you buy that lock, but then we're leaving after that. I'll buy you a nice little toy train. All right?

... Is there a hammer and some nails involved with those planks?

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
And are you going to be the one wielding the hammer?

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
You're going to hammer in your thumb.

And die.

Some ghosts have rather interesting stories.

Let's say I feel generous and let you build this... thing. You're going to let me watch you and make sure you don't horribly injure yourself too much. It's a good deal, so you'll take it.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
Because it wasn't a question.

Be grateful. I have better things to do with my time than watch you tinker around dangerously, like knitting my cat's sweater.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I do.

Right off my coast.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
That's rather irrelevant.

It's final, then. Come along, I'll buy these... things... for you.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
[... picks up some of the wobbling wood]

I hope you weren't planning to walk the planks home.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Something reasonable, perhaps. But that was presumptuous of me.

Well, as long as I'm here, it'll be fine. Really, you just go around welcoming danger.

[identity profile] is-an-island.livejournal.com 2011-04-20 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
[fishing out his wallet] Yes, and this little wagon doesn't just scream inevitable disaster.

Is that all you need from here?
